We have a pony farm, and we provide pony rides for various events and birthday parties in the area. Recently we've had a lot of people wondering "when do your ponies get breaks?" or "when do you give them water?" and other various things. We know our ponies very well, and take exceptionally good care of them. Our ponies let us know when they are too tired to walk, and when we bring them water (which is often) if they are thirsty they drink, and if they're not then we don't force them. I was just wondering if there were any links to sites that would tell you what sort of workload and time frame is typical for a pony so that we can have an educated answer other than "we know our ponies." You'd be surprised the number of people that don't buy that.
