Is it OK to make friends with only one half of a couple?� �?

Hello,
I've been wondering, is it OK for a woman to make a new male friend, invite him for movies, dinner etc. without ever inviting his wife/ girlfriend. Especially if its just going to be the two of them?

Its okay if nothing is going on but the girlfriend need to know that or there are going to be problems

sure, if you want her coming round to find out why you are hitting on her partner...

why not make friends with both, then when you get him alone for the sex, she won't suspect... :D

are you planning to make a move on him? then dont do it. if your going to do it in secret, then when his girl finds out, you would be responsible for destroying a relationship. then what? you take a guy you cant really trust for fear he will do the same to you?
have fun with him, by all means. but invite her along as well just to show that its all innocent. and no sleeping with him!

but if you do that where is your respect to the other half???no respect no friendship
