Our extended family and friends experienced our own little outbreak over the past 1 1/2 weeks. We got together for a birthday party, and within days, 35 out off 36 people who were in contact became very sick with violent vomitting, terrible stomach cramps, fever and extreme diarrhea. Even family members not at the event eventually became ill. We traced the source to a 12 month old cousin who was very sick the two days before the gathering. A "wise" doctor told her mother that it was just the "24hour" flu and she was fine to go to the party. The cousin left the party vomitting. As the title says, I'm looking for suggestions in trouble shooting this issue I am currently experiencing. Here's the setup Back in 10/07: Softmod Xbox (then current build of xbmc as dash) Windows XP machine 'serving' DVD isos Both connected to a Linksys router (modded w/ DD-WRT for bridge capabilities) Everything is fine. 6/16/08: Update XBMC Now during playback of DVD isos, audio will dropout at random. Sometimes it is quick (5 seconds) others it lasts up to a minute. It also occurs after searching (fast forward/rewind). I'm suspecting might be some sorta lag from the router. I'm looking at vBulletin and Invision. I like that they have an integrated image gallery option so the look is the same and you don't have to register again to use the image gallery. They can also climb vertical surfaces, but they aren't fast....they seem to actually prefer hopping and leaping than actually running. First a hint - use the FTP system provided by ZOOM, it gets all the binary right - especially important for the CGI version. It is also quite quick. Now a query - I have set it all up, including the logging, in exactly the same way as for the PHP version with all the files in the same cgi-bin directory - cgi, zdat, template and logs directory. This seems to work ok but I can't download the logs for analysis unsing the tool provided. The file is there and I can get it by FTP but not the tool. Any suggestions? Now a buggette. Both the CGI version and the PHP generate the output with empty paragraphs . Strictly this is not valid HTML - there should be some content. I'm looking to start taking some shots at concerts, mostly indoor gigs, and was wondering what type of lense would be best for this. Obviously something around f/1.4 or 1.8, but should i be considering a zoom lense or prime?when ever i have done concerts, i use a 85-200 mm zoom. That way, i can get both closeups of faces as well as full body shots with out having to change the lens, when in a concert setting is a pain in the @$$....I use a combination of my 18-55, 50 and 70-300. The last one very rarely works as the smallest aperture is 5.6, but sometimes if someone is very brightly lit you can get away with it on 1600. Our extended family and friends experienced our own little outbreak over the past 1 1/2 weeks. We got together for a birthday party, and within days, 35 out off 36 people who were in contact became very sick with violent vomitting, terrible stomach cramps, fever and extreme diarrhea. As the title says, I'm looking for suggestions in trouble shooting this issue I am currently experiencing. Here's the setup Back in 10/07: Softmod Xbox (then current build of xbmc as dash) Windows XP machine 'serving' DVD isos Both connected to a Linksys router (modded w/ DD-WRT for bridge capabilities) Everything is fine. 6/16/08: Update XBMC Now during playback of DVD isos, audio will dropout at random. Sometimes it is quick (5 seconds) others it lasts up to a minute. It also occurs after searching (fast forward/rewind). I'm suspecting might be some sorta lag from the router. First a hint - use the FTP system provided by ZOOM, it gets all the binary right - especially important for the CGI version. It is also quite quick. Now a query - I have set it all up, including the logging, in exactly the same way as for the PHP version with all the files in the same cgi-bin directory - cgi, zdat, template and logs directory. This seems to work ok but I can't download the logs for analysis unsing the tool provided. The file is there and I can get it by FTP but not the tool. Any suggestions? Now a buggette. Both the CGI version and the PHP generate the output with empty paragraphs . Strictly this is not valid HTML - there should be some content. Hey there, I'm writing because I'm curious to see if anyone has any input on a film SLR camera(s) I am considering. I'll start from the beginning, I have a D70 with the following lens' Sigma 70-300 apo super macro II kit lens 50mm 1.8 prime ...and an sb-600 flash. My question is..I am looking at adding a film slr and dont wanna spend an arm and a leg. The n55 and n70 are my contenders. I'm wondering if any of you have any advice as to which one would be a good one to get, with saving money in mind. Is the n70 THAT much of a difference in performance and capability than the N55??? I'm looking to start taking some shots at concerts, mostly indoor gigs, and was wondering what type of lense would be best for this. Obviously something around f/1.4 or 1.8, but should i be considering a zoom lense or prime?when ever i have done concerts, i use a 85-200 mm zoom. That way, i can get both closeups of faces as well as full body shots with out having to change the lens, when in a concert setting is a pain in the @$$....I use a combination of my 18-55, 50 and 70-300. The last one very rarely works as the smallest aperture is 5.6, but sometimes if someone is very brightly lit you can get away with it on 1600.
